When are scientists going to invent a spacecraft around the universe?
Last year scientists from Nasa said that they would be working to invent a spacecraft to take people into space past planets and Earth’s moon. In 1 or 2 decades scienentists will be able to invent a spacecraft to go to a part of the universe man has never visited before. The word ‘Spacecrafts’ means what?
Spacecraft and spaceships travel beyond the earth’s atmosphere. But some times they go into space to find more information on planets, moons, sun, earth, comets and melodies.
Spacecraft are very different to spaceshuttles because: spacecraft are cleating rocks on some planet and bring it back from the planet or travel around the planet. Spaceshuttles can take people to space. Spacecrafts can only go into space once but spaceshuttles can go into space, lots of times.
History of spacetavel.
The entrepreneur is having five “spaceliners” built in US team which is launched the spaceship one rocket plane last year. Only three years 13,000 potential by the passengers for the 100,000 pounds which is 190,000 dollars.
1957 October 4 Soviet Union carry space dog Laika. 1958 December space program name mercury. 1959 Soviet Union launched three Luna probes to the moon. First one missed, second crash-landed and the third photographed on the far side of the moon. 1960 Soviet Union flies two dogs to the moon, their name is Strelka and Belka. 1961 July 21 Gus Grissom makes three same flights in Liberty7. 1962 John Glenn and Scott Carpenter makes three orbits of the Earth. 1963 May 15 the Mercury program end after the flight of Gordon Cooper. 1964 October 12 Soviet Union launches Voskbad 1 with a crew of three. 1965 March 23 Astronauts John Young and Gus Grissom performs a test flight of first Gemini spacecrafts. 1965 November 11 Edwin Aldrin did three successful space walks. 1967 April 23 Vladimir Komarov lifted off on a test of a new Soviet spacecraft. 1968 October 26 Soviet Union resumes manned flight with the launch of Soyuz 3. 1969 Neil Amstrong from NASA was the first man to walk on the moon. A little bit later more astronauts was going to Earth’s moon. It is far away for scientists to design a spacecraft to travel a part of the universe and past planets. Did you know in 1983 and 1997 NASA took a spider web with a spider and bees into space? Both of the amnion and insect survived. Man will have to grow food before we can go into universes that’s the next Challenge.

Do your parents ever talk about their past? My dad is always talking about when he was small. He says we are luckier than he was when he was a kid. He lived in a village with his mum, dad, two big brothers and two big sisters. He was the smallest one out of them. Although my family comes from China, most of it is in New Zealand now. My mum comes from Guang Zhou. She used to live on a farm like my dad but she left China at the age of ten. Now, her village has become an airport in Guang Zhou. It is very noisy. I want to visit it when I go to China. China is shaped kind of like a chicken. China is part of Asia in the Northern Hemisphere. My family comes from Guang Dong, Guang Zhou. The people in China used to have at most seven kids. But then the population got too big. People are only allowed one child. The population now is 13 billion; it is nearly reaching 14 billion in China. If you have more than one child, that child is killed by the government and you have to pay with everything you’ve got. Some customs in China are Chinese New Year and the Lantern Festival or Spring Festival. In the Chinese calendar, there are 12 animals. Each year, there is an animal. There is the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, chicken, dog and the pig. This year is the year of the rat. I was born in the year of the ox, which was 1997. Next year is the year of the ox, which means I will be 12. The food that Chinese people eat is rice. On special occasions, we eat roast pork and duck and a few other dishes. An event that has happened this year is the earthquake in Si Chuan. It killed more than one million people. Lots of people have lost their family members. Also, the Olympics are taking place in China this year. The opening ceremony is held in Beijing. Some places that make China unique are The Great Wall of China. It is 15,000 kilometres long and was used for wars in the past with Mongolia. I want to visit China one day. I think it is very interesting. I think you might want to visit it too. By: SL Cute, caring By PS Hannah Since man has invented plastic, the world has been a disaster. Everywhere you look there is plastic. Animals sometimes eat rubbish and think it’s their food. That may kill that animal. We can’t burn plastic because it sets off poisonous gas. You might get dizzy if you smell it and the gas is harmful to the environment. In some countries, they are trying to save the environment by banning plastic. like in Taiwan, they banned plastic bags AND all plastic utensils like plastic forks, plastic plates and lots more. Super markets, fast-food outlets, department stores, schools, government departments, and street stores aren’t allowed to sell or use plastic either. In the world, it is guessed that nearly four billion plastic bags is ended up being rubbish each year. If all of them were tied together, the enormous line of plastic bag would circle around our precious planet sixty three times. Isn’t that amazing? Plastic is made of petroleum. The amount of petrol man uses to make just one plastic bag, can make a car go 115 metres. Incredible! In New Zealand, Collingwood doesn’t use plastic anymore. Instead, the government gave each family a cloth bag, for free! Collingwood became New Zealand’s first no-plastic-bag town on 4 October 2005. Plastic will damage the environment so please, use less plastic!!!!!!!!! By: SL Have you ever wondered what the closest animal related to a man is Charles Darwin believed that all species of life evolved over time from common ancestors through natural selection? Natural selection means good things about a species that help it survive that are a part of that species and the entire thing they no longer need to. Did you know that the orang-utans don’t survive in their habitat disappear over time eg: human fair is becoming smaller and we know longer in our wisdom teeth. The male orang-utans travel alone and mother orang-utans are usually accompanied only by an infant or sometimes by in older juvenile. Orang-utans eat their main food their main food is fruit, young leaves, flowers, and barks, insects, mainly ants termites and cricket. Orang-utans live in the Sumatra and Borneo they are the only places in the world where orang-utans live, mainly in the trees. Chimpanzees live in the tropical rain forest. Apes and humans evolved from common ancestors. These ancestors split up and evolved into different species. Apes come from Africa but there is difference between apes and monkeys. People say that humans are apes but it’s actually not true. God created us and we are not apes. Gorillas live on the continent of Africa. A group of gorillas are called the band. Did you know what gorillas eat? They eat leaves and plants in the jungle. Did you know that there are over 1 million monkeys in the world? There are about 200 to m500 orang-utans lift in world. Conclusion On a hot sunny Monday morning we went to Woodhill forest. The whole class went on a bus . When we arrived we had morning tea. After that we put our gear on, a helmet on our heads and a harness around our bodies . As I looked at the trees I was scared to go on the course. I said to myself to try hard and don’t give up. After I climbed up the ladder of Course One I felt I was about to do a scary thing but I went on anyway. The flying fox was a creepy. I hit my shoulder on a tree and called for help. I told the instructor that I had hurt my hand and he helped me to do my hook up. He asked if I was all right and I replied, “No”. Later on I put my carabineer on a wire and went on the flying fox. After that I had lunch and went back to school. When I arrived back the 3.00 pm bell rang and I went home. At home I told my mum all about my trip. What I will always remember about Tree Top Adventures are the courses. They were amazing and exciting, By ET Korea is Not Island. The world inside Korea is divided into North Korea and South Korea On a windy Monday morning room 19, 20, 21 and 25 headed up to Tree Top Adventures. As we arrived I felt really nervous, a couple of minutes later the amazing instructors came to check our gear and tell us what to do and how to do it! There were two coloured lines red and blue. The red meant life line and the blue meant to hook your pully’s to make a flying fox. As I climbed course one I was getting freaked out, the course was about 3-5 meters high off the ground but it gets higher each course. There were all sorts of different obstacles like tunnels with big splits in the middle of them, ladders, line walking and much more. The best bit for be was the huge flying fox it was so exciting and scary at the same time. The best and scariest course was number four because it was really high, it was so fun and it was the highest there plus I nearly fell off. I had no one behind me ahhh! I was only hanging from a bungy courd that’s what made it really scary, help me help me somebody I was even more freaked out woops I fell off again help! I jumped on to the huge flying fox. Well I should say I made the flying fox. Oh no , I slipped I suddenly flew down into a big rope net ouch that hurt I suddenly got a big wedgie it toke me over or around 10 or 20 minutes just to get out of it but that’s because I was tangled up. Later when I had finished course four me, Pailen, Nicloe, Habiba and Freshta all stuck together through out the whole amazing trip. After I had finished course four Pailen was on course five and we were not allowed but she did Meanwhile it was the end of the day. I said I didn’t want to goback but we had to. BY: SW Kiwis is New Zealand national bird. The Kiwi is light and dark brown in colour. Its feathers are so thin and fine that looks like a ball of fur. Kiwis live in New Zealand’s native bush on the forest floor. Kiwis only come out at night to creep about searching for insets (worms, wetas and grubs) in the soil. Facts By MW |
